Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an artistic environment. Her first job was as a photo assistant. She then moved on to acting and modeling. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising actress. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the globe after just three films. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
