Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for more than 40 years. Most famously, she is known because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her stage career began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s she performed as a stage actor in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, The album is Tina Time. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. The actress joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made her name as an accomplished director on various well-known television shows including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto for her early years. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
