Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She is an American actor, model and singer. Her most well-known work is her role as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been used in various films and TV shows, such as How to Be Solo Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. She trained in dance in the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. Three years ago She began her acting career as a professional as a part of a nationally telecast Shake and Bake commercial. Momsen went on a career hiatus over three years before she was cast as the lead in Misconceptions, a WB television series. Momsen played a role in Saving Shiloh in 2006 at the time. In addition, she was one of three leading candidates for Hannah Montana's title role. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the title role.
