Cecily Legler Strong has been an extremely popular American actor, comedian and performer on the show 'Saturday Night Live. Her career began with theater, but was drawn to stand-up comedy at nine, after taking a course in the art of improv. It was her initial intention to be an actor but she soon realized that her true calling is comedy. She then shifted to performing Improv. She began her career performing on cruise ships alongside fellow crew members from Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. Strong is still performing at popular events including Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. And Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all female Improv troupe. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she appeared on 'Saturday Night Live' in its 39th Season as a guest cast member as a co-host of the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. Her most memorable performance was when she played the role of "The girl that you'd rather not have started an argument with at a party'. Her debut came with a role as a star of the movie that was also titled "How to make money from an Uterus".
